Mardi Himal Trek

Your first day in this beautiful valley will begin with the greetings from our local operators escorting you to your hotel. Our representatives will brief you about the trek to follow and they will be available at all hours in case of any queries.

The city of temples rich in world heritage sites is something you should not miss for the world. Our representative will meet you at the hotel at 7 am sharp after which he will take you in a private vehicle to Pashupatinath temple, the epitome of Hindu religion's faith where you will encounter people of all religions basking in the beautiful carvings and architecture of the temple along with cultural richness. The other destinations to follow are Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath, and Basantapur (Kumari Ghar) whose significance will be explained to you by our representative in the spot itself. After helping you with your last-minute shopping, at 7 pm sharp you will be dropped at your hotel. Note: If you want to capture the significant part of the Himalayas, now would be the best moment to try Mountain Flight. The flight is not included in the package but with additional fees, it can be managed.

After early breakfast, we head towards the beautiful city Pokhara on a tourist bus which is just a 6-7 hours drive. On the way, one can enjoy the greenery surrounding the serpentine roads and majestic hills which are covered with diverse species of forests and you can tune in to the sound of Marsyangdi and Trishuli river as well. The very famous Manakamana temple can also be seen from the highway that has cablecar services. If you're lucky enough you might as well enjoy the glistening snowcapped mountains on the way! Overnight stay in lakeside of Pokhara where you can stroll around as well.

Our journey will start early in the morning with a drive of an hour to Kande which is the starting point of our trekking. From Kande, we will keep walking through Rhododendron forests with glistening mountains like Macchapuchre(6,993m), Dhaulagiri(8,167m), Mardi(5,587m) on our site. 4 hours of walking will takes us to Pothana(2,125m) where we will stay overnight.

Today we will walk a little more (7 hours) to reach our destination, Low camp for overnight stay. On the way we will be rewarded with the panoramic views of mountains like Macchapuchre(6993m), Dhaulagiri(8,167m) and Mardi(5,587m) will be closed,The clearer blue sky and cold breeze will rejuvenate us and make us forget all the fatigue and pain.

Early in the morning, we will set out on our journey to High Camp that will be a 4-hour walk. On the way, if luck favors us then we might see Danphe as well, the national bird of Nepal. After 1.5 hours of walk, we will reach the middle camp. Hotels in High camp offer a decent view of mountains and a beautiful sunset. Stay overnight at the hotel.

So finally we will be going to hour main destination today. After having a hearty breakfast we will reach Mardi Base Camp in the first part of the day which will take us around 4 hours.MBC will leave you awestruck with its gleaming beauty, diverse flora and fauna, and the most comforting weather. After satisfying our hunger for soaking in natural beauty, we will head our ways back towards Siding, a culturally rich village. But the way downwards will be relatively a difficult one with rough trails and a walk of around 5 hours, however since it's your last day of walking you can tire yourself as much as you want. Overnight stay at Siding village.

Early in the morning, we will drive back to Pokhara in a jeep that will take us about 2-3 hours. After a decent lunch in Pokhara, You will explore the different places of Pokhara like Taalbarahi, David falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev & lakeside of Pokhara Stay overnight at the hotel.

6-7 hours of drive will take us back to Kathmandu. Today you will have a farewell dinner in Nepali kitchen restaurant with your crew member. Stay overnight at the hotel.

The Mardi Himal Trek will come to an end on this day, but not the memories you have with yourselves. All your photos and videos will be provided to you along with a token of love from our side. Ultra Nepal crew members will escort you towards the Airport. The journey we started as strangers, we always hope to end it as friends.
